I have a confession

Yes, I do have a confession.  It's a Weight Watchers no-no.

I am a daily weigher...and my scales have run out of batteries!
I feel so lost and incomplete! When do the shops open so I can get some more batteries?

I know it's a no-no but I find it helps me stay on track better during the week.  I can clearly see the effect of too much salt in my weight the next day.

Is it so wrong for me to be a daily weigher?

I weigh pretty much everyday. It keeps me accountable. In fact I would say that the times that I'm not weighing daily are the times when I've put on too much weight and know it and try to ignore it. it's easier to turn the damage around in a few days rather than leave it for a few weeks.

I know some people really obcess about the numbers and get quite down when they're not losing. If that's the case then probably not a good idea. But for me it keeps me on track and keeps me accountable to myself.

So I say if you want to weigh daily - then go for it.

Have a great day!!!!

I am even worse than you as I weigh myself when I go to the bathroom during the night as well as in the morning. How can it be wrong, surely if it helps me understand more about my weight then thats a good thing I'm sure.
I am going to Spain today for 6days to stay with my daughter and family so I hope I can stay good. The cakes in Spain are amazing and beautifully wrapped.
I wish you well and hope I can improve on the disappointing 1/2lb I lost last week

I knew there were fellow daily weighers out there! I bought a new battery today so I can go weigh tonight...

I agree Lee-Anne, it's easier to turn around from a gain after a few days rather than a few weeks.

Enjoy Spain Margie, haven't been there (yet), enjoy the Spanish cakes :)
